I must admit I didn't look very closely; just wanted to make sure they fit. When it came time to play soccer, he took them out and there was a big section of one foot that had unraveled. At first we thought a rodent or dog was to blame; on closer inspection, though, it became clear that the product had just come undone. A big disappointment--and a real pain in the neck, since I had ordered them from Amazon (via Prime shipping) to avoid going back to our local sports store. I had a few pairs of Adidas Copa socks which are nicer, thicker, and more flashy due to the three stripes and embroidered Adidas logo, but I needed a few more pairs of socks to be the "under" pair. If you wear a single pair of socks I would recommend the Copas, but if you're like me and wear two pair at once, save a few dollars and couple a Copa with a Metro sock.
